Is Team Carolina Right for You?

Who Team Carolina Is For

Team Carolina is built for families who want development, accountability, and a real path to the next level — not just another roster spot. Here's how to know if it's the right fit.

Team Carolina Is Built For

  • Boys serious about development who want to be challenged in training
  • Families who value real coaching, accountability, and recruiting education
  • Players who want high school and college lacrosse on the table
  • Elite (2027–2033): Charlotte-based, year-round — 100+ training hours, 5–8 field tournaments Fall/Summer, box training & tournament in Winter, full recruiting support, events beyond our region
  • Select (2027–2033): also Charlotte-based, seasonal Fall and/or Summer, a la carte off-season training, more regional events — players come from all over
  • Futures (2034–2037): foundation-building in Charlotte, local within our region, Fall and/or Summer, a la carte off-season training

Team Carolina May Not Be For

  • Players looking for casual or once-a-season recreational play
  • Families not seeking a development-focused environment
  • Players unwilling to make Team Carolina a priority during programming

Team Carolina must be a player’s priority unless they play another sport. All-star and national teams are acceptable provided they don’t conflict with Team Carolina programming — or are communicated and agreed upon with the director and coaches ahead of time. Our partner all-star program is SweetLax.

The Pathway

Three Pathways. One Program.

One club, a clear path to the next level. Elite and Select for classes 2027–2033. Futures for classes 2034–2037. Players move up from Futures to Elite or Select at the right time. Placement is based on ability, commitment, fit, roster needs, and family goals.

  • Fall and/or Summer
  • A la carte off-season training
  • More regional events
  • College pathway on the table
Classes 2034–2037 · Foundation
Futures

  • Local within our region
  • Fall and/or Summer
  • A la carte off-season training
  • A foundation for Elite & Select
