ABOUT TEAM CAROLINA

Team Carolina represents the very best in competitive lacrosse, guided by our exceptional coaching staff. Our coaches, boasting current and former college and high school coaching experience, and all with college playing backgrounds, are the finest in the region, dedicated to developing athletes into leaders on and off the field. Our local roots and personal approach to coaching set us apart from all of the corporate-run clubs in Charlotte - we are proud to be the only locally owned and operated club in the region.

Our innovative training methodology, emphasizing maximizing touches, high-energy, college-style practices, and comprehensive development, sets our athletes apart. In partnership with Mabry Academy, we offer weekly mental performance training to enhance cognitive abilities, stress management, and overall mental resilience, believing firmly that mental prowess is as crucial as physical training.

Athletically, we're partnered with top organizations like Performance Unlimited, Roe Pro, and Carolina Factory to provide unparalleled speed and strength training options. Our commitment to lacrosse development, athletic growth, leadership skills, and mental performance underlines our mission to not just create top athletes but well-rounded individuals ready for any challenge.

As a testament to our success, nearly 400 boys and girls have advanced to play at the next level, thanks to our comprehensive approach to recruiting and development, led by our dedicated staff. We don't just aim to develop top lacrosse players; we aim to cultivate leaders who excel when it matters most.

RE-EVALUATION PROCESS

We know that every player’s developmental path is unique and hit their strides at different points of their high school careers. Based on their performance throughout the year, including their Spring HS season, players may (or may not) be moved up/down between teams based on the discretion of the coaching staff. We will always put the players in the best positions to maximize their exposure and playing time as well as the best opportunity to showcase their skills.

No matter the team, all players will benefit from the same number of training opportunities, tournaments and high level instruction throughout the year. Our mission is to ensure every player in our program has opportunities to play lacrosse at the next level.

SWEETLAX PARTNERSHIP

We are a proud partner of SWEETLAX LACROSSE which provides all of our Team Carolina athletes access to the best recruiting events, tournaments, showcases and resources to enhance their lacrosse experience. Sweetlax has helped hundreds of athletes achieve their dreams of playing lacrosse at the highest levels and are fortunate to have the ability to partner with them to give our players the best opportunities to be successful. In addition, all of our players have the option to tryout for SWEETLAX CAROLINA, a prestigious all-star team bringing the top players from the South together that competes around the Team Carolina Schedule.

    • IMLCA Tournament December 13th-15th in Florida (#1 Recruiting Event in the Country; only 90 teams accepted in the entire USA)

    • Team Camp the Weekend before IMLCA (5 Team Practices in 2 Days)

    • Evening Team Practice in Florida on December 13th

    **We have one confirmed spot for IMLCA at the 2026 AA Division and one confirmed spot on the 2027 AA Division. We are currently on the waitlist for another spot for 2026 and 2027 — our goal is to have two teams per grad year in attendance.

    If we do not get off the waitlist, the affected teams will participate in another Winter Recruiting Event.

TEAM DUES & REGISTRATION

  • Total Dues: $4500 (August 2024 through July 2025)

    • Full Payment: $4250 ($250 Discount)

    • 11 Month Plan: $4500 (No Discount)

    Payment Plan:

    • $750 Deposit by June 28th, 2024

    • $340 on July 15th, 2024

    • $340 on the 1st of August 2024

    • $340 on the 1st of September 2024 - June 2025

    Includes:

    • Team Carolina Player Kit

    • All Team Camps throughout the Year

    • All Training throughout the Year (including Team Practices and Weekly Trainings)

    • All 8 Tournaments throughout the Year

    • All Mental Performance Trainings throughout the Year

    • All Combine Testing and Speed Training Throughout the Year

    • IMLCA Recruiting Profile & Software for the Entire Year

    • Dedicated Recruiting Support throughout the Year

    • Media Coverage through DJ Copeland throughout the Year

    • Team Carolina Helmets are REQUIRED for the Classes of 2028 and younger. Players must have their helmet by the first Fall tournament.

    • Players will have the option to purchase additional player kit items in our Summer Team Store such as shooting shirts and shorts.
